Nevada County School Champions

I have raised 5 children through the Pleasant Ridge and Bear River High School Districts. Two of my children were given full ride college scholarships.

 

I am proud to announce that this month two local teams from Magnolia Intermediate School and three teams from Bear River High School earned the right to be California State Champions in two internationally competitive educational programs. Both of these programs, Odyssey of the Mind and DestiNation Imagination, provide creative problem-solving opportunities for the students.

 

These programs encourage our young people for their future in being an engineer, teacher, entertainer, artist, scientist, and a productive citizen.

 

They now have the honor of going to the International Competitions in Maryland and Tennessee.

 

Families continue to move to this area for the safety, the friendly community, the location, and for the top rated school districts.
